Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Shift Media through https://shiftmedia.in. By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Refund Policy

All payments made to Shift Media are non-refundable, except where explicitly agreed in writing prior to purchase. Due to the nature of Digital PR, media outreach, and publication services, work begins immediately after payment confirmation.

2. Article Rejection by Media Portal

Media publication is subject to editorial approval of third-party portals.

If an article is rejected by a specific portal, Shift Media will:

  • Revise the article if required.
  • Place the article on an alternative suitable media portal.

No refund will be provided if a portal rejects the article. The service obligation will be considered fulfilled once publication is completed on an alternative approved portal.

3. Article Removal or Takedown

Shift Media shall not be responsible for any article that is deleted, taken down, or removed by the media portal or publisher due to:

  • Content violations
  • Copyright issues
  • Legal concerns
  • Controversial content
  • Changes in editorial policies

In such situations, no refund will be provided. Shift Media does not control editorial decisions of third-party publishers. Any republishing or additional placement may be offered at additional cost.

4. Client Content Responsibility

Clients are fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of materials submitted. If an article is rejected or removed due to false information, copyright infringement, defamatory statements, or controversial content, no refund shall be issued.

5. Service Cancellation by Client

If a client chooses to cancel a service:

  • Before content drafting begins: Refund may be considered at management discretion.
  • After content drafting has begun: No refund will be issued.
  • After submission to media: No refund will be issued.

6. Publication Timelines

Media publication timelines may vary depending on editorial processes. Delays caused by media portals do not qualify for refunds.

7. Force Majeure

Shift Media shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including media policy changes, government regulations, legal restrictions, or technical platform issues. Refunds will not be applicable in such situations.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services already rendered. In case of unauthorized chargebacks, legal recovery actions may be initiated and future services may be restricted.

9. Final Acknowledgment

By proceeding with payment, the client acknowledges that media publication services involve third-party editorial discretion and that refunds are not guaranteed under any rejection, removal, or editorial modification circumstances.
